2025 Highlights:
- December: Thank you to all who attended the Miami Art Show. Although VL couldn’t be there, she appreciates your support for global artists and was honored to exhibit with Artboxy. She looks forward to future exhibits in Miami and worldwide.
- September: Gratitude to those who supported VL and the Healing Hearts Through Arts Collective at Sparrow Artspace and attended workshops.
- June: VL was thrilled to join Sana Corda in the Treehouse Interactive Workshop on Trauma Art and Healing in Kansas. Thanks to all attendees.
- June 18-21: At the University of Calgary’s “Evolving and Flourishing in an Age of Disruption,” VL led a workshop on Spiritually Expressive Art with Sana Corda. Special thanks to the volunteers, the Department of Social Work, and spoken poet, Wakefield Brewster for a remarkable performance.
- June: VL returned to MackiMakes Art Studio Show in Airdrie, showcasing alongside professional and aspiring artists.
- Spring: VL spoke at Mosaic Ministries of Calgary on Spiritually Expressive Art with Charlotte Loeppky. Thank you, Mosaic, for the opportunity.

Spectrum Miami Art Week – Dec 2025
VL was honored to be included among the many talented artists who exhibited at the Spectrum Miami Exhibit on December 3–7, 2025. It was a curated art fair that took place during the Miami Art Week. Her pieces in the virtual exhibit where VL was informed that. “Your artworks stood out beautifully and sparked amazing reactions from visitors and collectors alike.” by her Artist advisor.

VL was one of many artists from around the globe who were included in the virtual exhibit at Artexpo New York in 2025 with ArtBoxy in Artexpo New York, held at Pier 36.
CIF Building Bridges and ReconciliACTION Exhibit 2024
I was honored to be included among the artists exhibiting for CIF Truth & Reconciliation. Building Bridges and ReconciliACTION Exhibit, in Summer 2024. I thank all who came out see the art exhibition that Kateryna Pysarenko and I had on display entitled, “In Truth” and viewed the rest of the artists’ displays as well . The Truth and Reconciliation Exhibit, was held in the +15 Galleries.at Arts Commons Exhibition, now called Werklund Centre. Duration: June 6th – October 6, 2024
Truth and Reconciliation is very meaningful to me, as my mother and our relatives are survivors of the cultural genocide and residential school trauma inflicted upon First Nations across Canada, and North America. I believe that artistic expression is a powerful medium to not only share our stories, but our people’s resilience as well, and how we embrace the Divine to flow through us, inspiring one-another with the love of the Creator. I hope to honor my ancestors and collaborate with other artists to build a bridge of healing through art.

Thank you for joining us on a creative healing journey for trauma survivors, supporters and lovers of the creative process.
VL thanks everyone for coming out to see her exhibit while she was in residency at Sparrow Artspace , with Q Yezireux and Jiwon You, in Calgary, Alberta, September 2025. VL’s works reflected on her First Nation’s heritage by creating a series of works to honor her ancestors in an exhibit called, Healing Hearts Through Art: Journey of the Generations.
She encouraged others through workshops to engage in the Spiritually Expressive Arts to find healing of the mind, body, soul and spirit through the subconscious creative mind . She facilitated sessions where they got to experience connection to themselves, the Creator, and the community through art.
VL also co-creating a joint artwork with the Healing Hearts Through Art Collective which was also on display at Sparrow ArtSpace at the end of September 2025 called, Light Through the Ruins.
VL enjoyed collaborating with Sana Corda and Jiwon a member of the Healing Arts Collective in the workshop for Healing Hearts Through the Expressive Arts, as well as facilitating her own Workshop an Introduction into Spirt Led Art.

SPIRIT LED ENGAGEMENTS
Spirit Led Art Sessions
Please note that if you wish to learn about Spirit Led Art, VL is not responsible for the Holy Spirit speaking to you and through you. You cannot purchase the Spirit’s presence! It is based upon God’s will and your personal relationship with him, we simply guide you on how to go within and connect with the divine inside of you.
You are paying for VL’s time and to show up and share her knowledge, insight and process with some exercises to teach you how to engage in and invite the Creator’s Great Spirit into co-creation with you. She shares how it is possible to tap into the subconscious divine in you, through the creative mind, and shares may tools for tapping into and relaesing the creative mind.
VL is an unapologetic Christian and honors and practices the sacred teachings and spiritual knowing of her ancestors, and those who walk with the Creator. She believes the Creator’s essence is in everyone and everything, we are all created in his image and likeness.
Parker is not trying to evangelize, or convert people to any denomination or belief system, but she is also open and transparent in sharing her view, and the spiritual creative processes that she engages in. She is open and willing to teach others how they too can engage in Spirit Led, Art, Poetry, or Creative writing and journal-writing.
VL is walking in the Sacred teachings of her people and believes that every human and nature has essence of the Divine Creator of all, in all, and the kingdom of God is within each one of us. She believes the Great Spirit is the Holy Spirit of the Living God and Father Creator is our Abba, Father of all. Parker believes in and follows Yeshua Emmanuel, Jesus Christ, as savior, healer, and deliverer, Son of the Living God, one with the Father and the Spirit, and One with us and all of his creation.
Spirit led art begins and ends with God’s glory and is his gift to all of us. In live sessions, we may smudge, may worship, pray in thanksgiving, inviting the Spirit into our sessions, breath and meditate. We also journal and then close in prayer or reflection.
Ojibway Spirit Led Art Classes
VL will be offering a series of Native art classes, it is a series of sessions based on Ojibway teachings and traditions and creating an art piece following each session. Lessons included: The 7 Sacred Grandfather Teachings and Walking the Red Red Road, Gitche Manidoo, “Great Spirit” or “Great Mystery, The Thunderbirds, Origins of the Anishinaabeg, and the Medicine Wheel. These workshops are booked well in advance and are dependent on the availability of an elder(s).
